Es sind nun bald zwei Monate verstrichen und der Krieg in Sudan tobt weiter – größere Aufmerksamkeit erhält er aber hierzulande nicht. Deshalb wollen wir vom U35-Netzwerk der DFG-VK am Dienstag, den 6.6. um 18 Uhr im Kiezraum auf dem Dragonerareal (und per Zoom im Internet) mehr über die Lage in Sudan erfahren. Aktivist*innen von Bana Group for Peace and Development, Sudan informieren über das Kriegsgeschehen, die unterschiedlichen Akteure und die humanitäre Versorgung.
Wir wollen die Entstehung des Krieges besprechen, diskutieren, welche gewaltfreien und demokratischen Entwicklungen dadurch erneut außerhalb der Sichtbarkeit gedrängt werden, und wie sich das auf
die Zivilgesellschaft in Sudan auswirkt. Gleichermaßen wollen wir uns aber auch mit der Verstrickung internationaler Akteure, insbesondere der EU und Deutschland beschäftigen, und Möglichkeiten
der Solidarität gemeinsam diskutieren.

Am 3.6. ruft ein Bündnis sudanesischer Exilcommunities zu einem großen Protest gegen den Krieg im Sudan in Erinnerung an den 3. Jahrestag der blutigen Niederschlagung der gewaltfreien Revolution von 2018-2019 in Berlin auf. Wir unterstützen den Aufruf und freuen uns wenn möglichst viele von euch zwischen 14 und 19 Uhr auf dem Tempelhofer Feld dabei sind -> amab@riseup.net

Almost two months have passed and the war in Sudan is still raging – but it is still not receiving much attention in Germany. An alliance of Sudanese exile communities is calling for a large protest against the war on the 3.6 in Berlin. They planned the protest in commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of the bloody suppression of the Sudanese non-violent revolution between 2018-2019. We support this call and would be happy if as many of you as possible came to the Tempelhofer Feld between 2 and 7 pm on the 3.6.
On Tuesday 6.6 at 6pm we want to understand more about the situation in Sudan, the war, the different players and humanitarian care in the area. We plan to discuss the origins of the war, what non-violent and democratic developments are once again being pushed out of visibility and how this is affecting civil society in Sudan.
We also want to look at the involvement of international players, especially the EU and Germany, and how they have contributed to the war. Additionally we will discuss possibilities for future solidarity.
Therefore, we are looking forward to a discussion with activists from Bana Group for Peace and Development, Sudan.
